Enhance your students and teachers academically and professionally by sending them to Rice University Tapia Camps this summer.
Student STEM camps offer 8th-12th graders a week-long experience of diving into STEM through participating in project-based, collaborative projects, interactions with renowned scientists and Rice University STEM students, and a trip to NASA; all while creating a college-bound culture for your students.
In addition, the Tapia Center is approved as a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) provider in Texas and offers Professional Development Tapia Camps for educators and administrators. Completion of one week of Tapia Camp equals 40 hours of professional development and is open to all educators interested in learning how to confidently assess student work and assign grade values to projects. We advocate a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach.
Registration for all 2017 summer camps is available now! School districts receive a discounted rate of $995 per registrant and are instructed to enter a code on the registration form that overrides the online payment process and allows you to mail a check.
If you are a school representative looking to register multiple students and/or educators, please contact:
