Hosted by The Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity at Rice University, the educational summer camps offer students an opportunity to live in a college dorm, work alongside Rice University STEM students, interact with renowned scientists, and participate in project-based, collaborative learning activities; all while working on skills development in communication and college preparation.
Each camp is one week long (Sunday to Saturday) and is focused on either math, physics or computer science, as noted in the schedule below. All camps feature a day trip to NASA’s Johnson Space Center as well as an Admissions Expo at the end of each week where top colleges and universities from around the country will be available to answer questions.
Registration is now open! The cost for each week-long camp is $1,295 per attendee.
